Activity Description

Not only does the Garden Route offer an abundance of fishing opportunity for conventional anglers, it offers something unique and special for fly fishermen. We’ve custom built two identical fly-fishing boats for Swartvlei. Designed to accommodate a maximum of two fly fishermen and their guide with large front and rear casting platforms, trolling motors and plenty of space; these boats are the ideal vessels for both fly fishing and artlure fishing on this unique estuary system.

With the opportunity to target Grunter, Garrick and the odd Cob; both on the lake and the estuary, your session promises an unforgettable experience on Swartlvlei. Rich in bird life and stunning scenery this healthy system boasts high numbers of juvenile fish, to arguable some of the biggest estuary Garrick in the country. Swartvlei belongs on every fisherman’s bucket list.
