Paddle your way through and explore the Knysna Lagoon or Thesen Island channels. Kayaking offers you an adventurous way of exploring the water, enjoying the nature and wildlife, and capturing fun moments. Tandem Kayaks are perfect for couples or parents with kids.
Kayak rentals are unguided, however, we can provide you with a guide depending on availability. A 1 hour trip is just enough time to explore the 19 islands and 21 bridges of Thesen Island, or alternatively see part of the lagoon.
Please note: Guests are required to sign in at our office 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We are at TH35 Sawtooth building, Thesen Island Harbour Town Knysna.

When in Knysna, kayaking on the lagoon is a must-do! We really enjoyed the hour on the water. The whole process of checking in, paying and getting our kayaks went quickly and smoothly, and the two young guys who attended to us were super friendly and professional. - kerry
Honestly the best part of my Garden Route holiday. Kayaking through the canals of the Thesen Island was just so relaxing and pleasant and the scenery was simply splendid. It's a shame I didn't have time to explore more. An easy 11/10 experience!!! - Hamza
